When did you first become a member of the credit union, and what originally led you to join?
I’ve been a member for more than 20 years!
I worked at ExxonMobil as a Custodian and joined when the credit union was in the Paulsboro Technology Center.
What are some important moments or financial milestones in your life where the credit union played a role? (first car, home, loan, savings, etc.)
I’ve had a car loan, a Home Equity loan, and I maintain a Christmas Club there.
What makes this credit union different from other financial institutions?
“They are really good to me!”
“If I fall, they help pick me up.”
“I would never go to another financial institution.”
Over the past 20 years, what has kept you a member all this time?
I handle all of my bills through them. I love working with Marcie. I used to go to banks, but they did not provide the same support, and sometimes it was a negative experience.
The employees at the credit union are nice, mannerly, and friendly, and they greet you warmly.
What does being a member mean to you?
“A lot.” They provide me with confidence and security. I live in Penns Grove and have no issue with driving up to the Swedesboro location.

If you had to describe the credit union in three phrases, what would they be?
Three phrases: “Respectful.” / “Likable.” / “Easy to work with.”
What do you hope to see from the credit union in the future?
“They are good as they are, and their rates are pretty reasonable.”
What would you say to someone considering becoming a member today?
I’d tell them to “come on!” and I’ve already brought several family members in.
